The Greater London Authority (GLA) publishes a range of population projections for local authorities. In addition to these, they offer bespoke Borough Preferred Option (BPO) projections, which incorporate the latest information on planned housing development provided by the council.
These BPO projections provide an alternative to the standard GLA projection model, enabling boroughs to plan more effectively for local strategic priorities, service delivery and funding bids.
The data presented in this dashboard reflects the 10-year central fertility trend and is based on the most recent 2023/24 housing projections.
